Mark has a well defined niche in the film industry as a VFX artist that has granted him the credits on many feature films, television series, commercials, and more. He also is a talented photographer, taking photos of his life in New York City.

Born from a photograph
This book cover was born from a photograph of Mark’s that I fell in love with. I had asked him if he pictures of some of the bridges of New York. He sent me the image that would become this. With magic he can only work, we got this amazing cover.

The beginning
This is the first cover that Mark and I worked on together. We both wanted to do something with Mephistopheles and that is how Fallen Descent was born. The theme of mirrors is used in the novel and Mark took the theme and created the book cover.

Dream it and he can make it
This is our third book cover. All I told him was that I wanted a map burning. He knows me well enough that he nailed it on the first take. We played around with fonts and placement of title but the image was spot on. Mark even was able to use the map I created for my world.
